This Privacy Policy describes how Bluebonnet Chapter House ("we," "our," "us"), owned and operated by Timothy Lowe at 4206 Oliver Street, Wedgwood, Texas 76133, collects, uses, and protects information about visitors to bob-books.com and customers of the shop.

• Contact details (name, email, phone, mailing address) when you write to us, buy a book, join a reading circle or subscribe to the Chapter Box.
• Payment details, processed by our third-party payment processor. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
• Reading preferences, only when you voluntarily complete a reader profile.

1.2 Information collected automatically

• Standard server logs: IP address, browser type, referring page and pages viewed, retained for up to 90 days.
• First-party cookies used to remember your cookie-consent choice and to measure aggregate page popularity.

2. How we use information

• To fulfill orders, subscriptions and event registrations.
• To answer emails, calls and reader-profile requests.
• To send the monthly newsletter, when you have subscribed.
• To keep the website secure and to detect abuse.
• To comply with applicable tax, accounting and legal obligations.

3. What we do not do

• We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
• We do not use third-party advertising or retargeting cookies.
• We do not share your reading history with anyone outside our small staff.

4. Sharing with service providers

We share the minimum information required with a small number of trusted providers: our payment processor, our email delivery provider for the newsletter, and our shipping carrier for the Chapter Box. Each provider is contractually obligated to protect your information.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email manager@bob-books.com and we will respond within thirty days.

6. California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

California residents may request a copy of the personal information we have collected in the past 12 months and may request deletion of that information, subject to certain exceptions. We do not "sell" personal information as defined by California law.

7. Children

Our services are intended for readers age 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes above, or as required by law. Order records are retained for seven years for tax purposes. Newsletter subscriptions are retained until you unsubscribe.

9. Security

The website is served over HTTPS. Order and subscription records are stored on password-protected systems accessible only to Timothy and the store manager.

10. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update this page and, where appropriate, notify newsletter subscribers by email.
